Sheridan, WY – The Global Directory of Who’s Who is proud to honor Dr. Daniel Robert Azheimer, a distinguished physician at Big Horn Radiology and Pain Intervention in Sheridan, Wyoming, for his exceptional achievements in diagnostic radiology, interventional medicine, and patient care. Dr. Azheimer earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Montana State University and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, where he also completed a residency in radiology. He received additional specialized training in orthopedic surgery in Hawaii and went on to earn the Certificate of Added Qualifications in Neuroradiology and Interventional Radiology. He is board certified in diagnostic radiology and venous and lymphatic medicine, and board eligible in pain management.
A recognized scholar, Dr. Azheimer graduated with honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He was also named Outstanding Montana Freshman Medical Student and received the prestigious George W. Lorraine Harris Memorial Scholarship and King County Medical Auxiliary Society Scholarship. He has contributed to medical literature through published work and remains active in several professional organizations, including the American Society of Interventional Radiology, the American Society of Neurointerventional Radiologists, and the American Society of Neuroradiology.
In addition to his clinical roles, Dr. Azheimer served on the Montana Board of Medical Examiners in Radiologic Technology and is Chairman of the Alzheimer Family Trust, demonstrating his commitment to community service and healthcare leadership. Outside of medicine, he enjoys ranching, hunting, traveling, and is the proud father of three sons.
